About Peter Shaffo, MA

Mr. Shaffo, educator and author, holds two Master’s degrees: one in Theology with an emphasis on Church Fathers and New Testament from Sacred Heart Major Seminary and the other in Hebrew Bible from Bar Ilan University. He is a PhD student and a proud Student Ambassador for Bar Ilan University’s International Program in Ramat Gan, Israel, and he also teaches Biblical Hebrew online with the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies (IIBS), which is accredited through Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. An educator for seven years serving at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels, he currently serves the Church in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Mr. Shaffo fell in love with teaching after his first teaching mission experience in Benque Viejo in Belize, Central America, where his students were bilingual in Spanish and English.
